Job Summary:
Centric Software is rolling out a new budgeting and planning process to support a global marketing organization spanning Americas, EMEA, APAC, and corporate teams. With discretionary budgets exceeding $13M annually and growing complexity across verticals, we are seeking a part-time specialist to bridge financial workflows, marketing operations, and system integrations.
This freelance role will support the transition from manual Excel-based tracking to a more automated planning tool integrated with Coupa (PO/invoicing), CRM, and ERP systems. The ideal candidate will bring accounting rigor, marketing fluency, and cross-cultural collaboration skills to ensure accurate reconciliation, stakeholder alignment, and smooth adoption.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the operational liaison between marketing, finance, and the implementation partner during tool rollout
- Track project milestones, decisions, and follow-ups across global stakeholders
- Reconcile invoices, accruals, and prepaids—especially across languages and currencies (e.g., French invoices for EMEA events)
- Validate budget vs. actual reporting across planning tools and financial systems
- Translate marketing activity (e.g., 20+ events per quarter) into campaign-level budget dimensions
- Document interim manual processes and support future automation efforts
- Provide guidance and support to marketing teams across regions to ensure adoption and accuracy
- Use tools like Google Translate or AI to interpret non-English documentation and ensure correct financial attribution
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong understanding of accounting principles: accruals, prepaids, expense recognition
- Experience reconciling multi-language invoices and working with global teams
- Familiarity with marketing operations: events, advertising, design, merchandise, etc.
- Skilled in project coordination and financial documentation
- Comfortable working environments with partial automation and manual checks
- Experience supporting software implementations in finance or marketing contexts
- Analytical mindset with ability to spot discrepancies and ensure data integrity
- Effective communicator across technical, financial, and marketing stakeholders
- Self-directed, reliable, and able to manage part-time freelance workload independently
