Responsibilities:
As an intern you may be working on one of more of the areas below:
- Assisting in performance testing for multi-tier enterprise Java-based applications.
- Learning and applying JMeter to conduct performance and load tests.
- Writing basic monitoring and data extraction scripts using JavaScript or Bash.
- Supporting the analysis of performance data to identify and troubleshoot bottlenecks.
- Exploring continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes using Jenkins.
- Gaining exposure to container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborating with engineers to develop test automation solutions for improving software reliability.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Interest in performance testing, automation, and cloud technologies.
- Some familiarity with JMeter, or a willingness to learn.
- Basic understanding of JavaScript, Bash scripting, or Java (Optional: Exposure to Java is a plus).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and an eagerness to learn.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Application Architecture: Understanding the interaction between UI, application, and database layers.
- Performance Testing & QA: Best practices for software performance evaluation.
- Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD): Working with Jenkins to automate testing.
- JMeter Expertise: Hands-on experience with industry-standard performance testing tools.
- Scripting & Automation: Writing basic JavaScript/Bash scripts to enhance testing.
- (Optional: Exposure to Java programming fundamentals.)
