About the role
We are looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative to join our sales team. Reporting to the Business Unit Manager and collaborating closely with your teammates, your mission will be to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
Key responsibilities
Outbound lead generation (70% of time):
- Build targeted lists of potential clients
- Segment prospects based on company size and market fit
- Conduct outreach through cold calling and cold emailing to identify new sales opportunities and schedule appointments
- Engage promptly with prospects generated by the marketing team
- Qualify and schedule appointments
- Pass qualified opportunities to the Business Unit Manager
- Track and report on performance metrics
- Participate in industry events to grow the sales pipeline
- Use CRM tools (Hubspot / Zeliq) to manage daily activities
- Suggest improvements to prospecting processes to enhance efficiency
- Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with a wide range of prospects
- Resilient, proactive, and creative in your approach to outreach
- Strong experience with cold calling and other outbound lead generation methods
- Previous experience as an SDR in a B2B SaaS environment
- Familiarity with CRM tools, ideally Hubspot
- Fluency in both English and French, written and spoken
