Azure Cloud Engineer
Engineering - Milan, Italy - Full Time
The Azure Cloud Engineer provides high-quality technical design, implementation, and integration for clients hosted in Azure Cloud. This role as Azure Cloud Engineer is with the Centric Planning team based in Italy and encompasses all stages of a project, including requirements gathering, cloud services deployment, security and compliance, systems engineering, and operational readiness, supporting R&D, Sales, and Delivery teams throughout the customer project lifecycle.
Principal Activities and Responsibilities:
- Manage cloud implementation in Azure (including Azure Entra ID, Storage, SQL Databases, App Service, Key Vault, Data Factory, Virtual Machines, etc.).
- Implement security measures to protect customer environments.
- Monitor Azure resources and services to address performance issues and ensure infrastructure availability.
- Implement and maintain scripts for creating and updating Azure environments.
- Support R&D, Sales, and Delivery teams during the project lifecycle.
- Achieve Microsoft certifications for Azure technologies.
Job Specifications:
Education:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge; Azure certifications and training.
Work Experience: 1 year of experience with Microsoft technologies and Azure.
Knowledge: Familiarity with Azure resources and their management, basic SQL Server knowledge, proficiency with scripting tools, and MS Office; fluent command of Italian and English; proficiency in another foreign language is a plus.
Skills and Abilities: Fast learner of new technologies in Cloud and Microsoft domains; capable of producing high-quality documentation; proactive in identifying potential issues and new opportunities to support customers.
Preferred candidate location is the Milan area, with the option to work remotely most of the time.
