Job Summary:
Centric Software is the global industry leader in Enterprise PLM for the Fashion, Footwear, and Apparel markets. We are now expanding into new retail verticals, supporting retailers in developing and sourcing private label products, as well as trading national and international brands.

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to join our New Markets Retail (PLM and Retail Visual Merchandising) team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling into multicategory retail accounts, including major grocery retailers with large national and international footprints, as well as health and beauty, DIY, drugstore, pharmacy, and general merchandise (CPG) retailers—ranging from department stores to pure-play eCommerce equivalents.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic account planning for accounts headquartered in the region
  • Coordinate pre-sales efforts to maximize deal potential
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of Centric Software
  • Accurately and promptly forecast business in SFDC
  • Build strong, productive relationships in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
  • Own the full sales process—from pipeline generation and internal collaboration to opportunity closure
  • Develop and execute actionable plans to drive growth and profitability
  • Collaborate with customers to uncover opportunities and translate business challenges into sales solutions
  • Engage with multiple decision-makers within prospective client organizations
  • Exercise independent judgment while collaborating closely with team members to execute sales strategies
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of sales experience
  • Proven sales hunter and product/process evangelist
  • Background in supply chain, sourcing, buying, retail planning, or merchandising within relevant retail sectors
  • Strong track record in selling enterprise software solutions
  • Fluent in English (especially within a retail context); additional language(s) a plus
  • Deep experience with mass market retail
  • Solid foundation in sourcing and buying solutions
  • Familiarity with AI and optimization technologies is a strong advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals and objectives
  • Fast learner with the ability to grasp new technologies and adapt to evolving business needs
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a high-speed, results-driven environment
