Job Summary The Vice President of Product & Vertical Marketing is a newly created leadership role at Centric Software, a rapidly growing enterprise software company. This role combines traditional product marketing responsibilities with industry-specific expertise, serving as a bridge between product marketing and go-to-market efforts. You will expand and lead a team of 3 to 6 professionals, championing Centric Software's five product lines across five verticals. Key responsibilities include developing product messaging, conducting competitive analysis and differentiation, shaping value propositions, overseeing product launches, and collaborating with R&D teams. Additionally, you will lead go-to-market activities and produce collateral such as TAM studies, sales enablement tools, customer testimonials and case studies, marketing partnerships, campaign assets (handoff to field marketing), website/SEO content, and more. You will also manage tech analyst relations, leveraging your experience in this area. This role is designed to address the current under-positioning of our solutions and will work closely with the broader marketing organization (field marketing, digital teams, corporate content, CMO) and other departments, including R&D, pre-and post-sales, sales, and customer teams. Centric Software is a Silicon Valley-based company in a period of high growth, with team members located in over two dozen countries. The marketing team includes 70+ full-time employees, supported by approximately 200 contractors. We operate with a high-performance, hands-on culture where all team members are action oriented. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of the product/vertical marketing strategy and methodology for this newly formed team.
Create and maintain the value proposition, key messages, and foundational assets, evolving them in line with product advancements.
Develop and manage solution-based marketing and sales enablement assets.
Maintain a strong customer focus, creating use cases, and testimonials, and staying closely attuned to market demands.
Represent the company at webinars and key events, advocating for our solutions and brand.
Conduct competitive and market research to inform strategy.
Collaborate with all sales teams, including CST, strategic accounts, and enterprise teams.
Share market and customer insights with R&D, product teams, and the broader marketing organization.
Act as the primary point of contact for tech analysts, fostering relationships and proactively engaging with new analysts as our solution scope expands.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
Experience in PLM, retail planning, AI solutions, or competitive market intelligence is a plus.
Knowledge of the retail and fashion industries is advantageous.
10+ years of experience in product marketing or related leadership roles, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
Proven success in managing cross-functional, global teams and large-scale digital ecosystems.
Strong ability to navigate ambiguity, devise innovative solutions, and stay focused on results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Demonstrated ability to scale operations across multiple regions and languages.
Advanced analytics skills to measure performance, optimize strategies, and guide decision-making.
Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability within the team.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Candidates who exceed the specified experience and relevant education or training may be considered for compensation above the stated range.
