About the team

You will be joining Centric Software’s professional services organisation in a multifaceted role which supports our business consulting, technical consulting and project management teams. The team is distributed across multiple timezones and global locations, and you will be often liaising with other business functions such as finance, sales and HR.

What you will be doing

You will design, deliver and support business critical systems which provide the professional services organisation with day-to-day operations management and management reporting capabilities. These systems include our professional services automation platform, a data warehouse and multiple system integrations to this. Specifically, you will be responsible for

• Contributing to (and/or owning where applicable) the design of key business systems.
• Development, troubleshooting and enhancement of the above-mentioned systems.
• Becoming a key contact and provide 3^rd line support for such systems.

What you bring:

• Analytical thinking, with experience in requirements gathering and systems engineering.
• Experience developing in python and/or JavaScript. Use of REST APIs and the development of systems integrations using iPaaS technologies.
• Development of data warehouse, including data modelling, analysis and optimisation of RDBMS systems.
• Experience working with Atlassian cloud applications, Tempo, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, PowerBI and like applications.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to work with non-native speakers.

Added bonus if you have:

• Postgraduate degree in computer science or data science related disciplines.
• Deep knowledge of PowerBI, Microsoft DAX and Power Query.
• Full stack developer background.
