License Administrator | Fulfillment Administration

Devops - Remote - Full Time

Licensed Administrator
Remote – prefer someone in the Canadian, East Coast
Salary Range:  $100,000 - $110,000 CAD


The License Administrator is responsible for daily management of operational activities assigned to the Centric software team. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy on all software orders. In addition, the License Administrator confirms all orders and fulfills compliance and contract requirements. The License Administrator will also provide direct customer assistance in initiating new agreements and the tasks associated with successfully entitling the customer to consume newly procured licenses.

Needs to:

  1. Carefully follow established procedures to manage the creation and distribution of new licenses accurately and in a timely fashion.
  2. Track the expiration of licenses and follow up with Sales Operations if a license is about to expire.
  3. Be trustworthy – Act only when given authorization to distribute a license. Follow procedures faithfully. Take the initiative to help improve the process when necessary.
  4. Confirm that the software products and configurations sold are compliant with Centric’s policies and sales orders requirements before fulfilling an order.
  5. Collaborate with other teams (including Cloud Operations, Sales Operations, Legal and Revenue Operations) to ensure accurate license fulfillment.
  6. Follow established procedures to purchase products needed for license fulfillment from third-party vendors.
  7. Proactively respond to customer inquiries and investigate, resolve, or escalate issues promptly for maximum customer satisfaction.
  8. Manage access to license records and repositories as needed for internal employees.
  9. Ensure all product documentation sent to the customer is up to date and complies with the order configuration.  
  10. Focus on understanding the logic behind the software deliverables to deliver the software accurately and to troubleshoot any issues precisely.  
  11. Create and enable customer accounts with the correct order specific products and documentation.
  12. Quickly adapt to rapidly changing products and technical requirements for fulfillment.
  13. Comfortable working with project managers and software engineers to understand fulfillment requirements from a business as well as technical perspective.
  14. Exhibits some skills in technical acumen to help improve efficiency, accuracy and processing speed.
  15. Log all actions accurately.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience is required
  • 2-yrs experience with MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • 2-yrs customer service experience – preferably in a similar role
  • Experience with other industry license systems or SaaS and Atlassian products is a plus.
  • Experience with cross-platform data synchronization projects is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated strict attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Ability and willingness to conduct research and learn new systems/reports.
  • Well organized with the ability to prioritize project work.
  • Must work proactively and manage multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of revenue recognition rules for Saas and software fulfilment a plus.

“The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110 - $110K base + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Candidates who exceed the specified experience and relevant education or training may be considered for compensation above the stated range. Please note that the compensation details listed reflect base salary, and certain positions may be offered additional variable incentives.”
