Project Manager, Cloud Services

As the Project Manager for the "Journey to Cloud" project at Centric Software, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage all aspects of this critical initiative. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that the migration to the cloud is executed smoothly, on schedule, and within budget.


Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning: Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan outlining the tasks, milestones, and timelines required for a successful cloud migration.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders involved in the "Journey to Cloud" project. Keep stakeholders informed of progress, issues, and changes.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with cloud service providers and vendors to ensure that all necessary resources and services are available and aligned with project objectives.
• Resource Allocation: Collaborate with resource managers to allocate team members effectively, ensuring the project has the necessary personnel and expertise.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks associated with the cloud migration and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
• Budget Oversight: Monitor project expenses, track spending, and ensure that the project stays within budget constraints.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, generate regular project reports, and provide updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, etc.)
• Proven experience in project management, particularly in cloud migration projects
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and cloud service providers
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing project requirements
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Previous experience in cloud migration projects
