Senior AI Engineer, Innovation Programs Group

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer to join our Innovation Programs Group at Centric Software. This role is pivotal in leveraging advanced AI techniques to drive innovation and deliver cutting-edge solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in AI/ML technologies, coupled with a robust background in software engineering. Our group is dedicated to utilizing Generative AI to enhance sales and strengthen our market position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Engineering: Design and maintain robust data pipelines, including the generation of synthetic data and web scraping.

• Backend Development: Develop and implement REST APIs to integrate AI models with other systems.

• UI Demos: Create interactive UI demos using tools such as Streamlit or Gradio to demonstrate AI capabilities.

• Model Development: Develop and optimize machine learning models using Python, numpy, scipy, pandas, Spark, and Jupyter notebooks.

• Regression and Hyperparameter Tuning: Conduct regression analysis and perform hyperparameter tuning to improve model performance.

• MLOps Implementation: Apply MLOps practices to ensure reliable deployment and monitoring of AI models.

• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality AI-driven solutions.

• Documentation: Generate comprehensive documentation and technical specifications for AI projects.

Generative AI Expertise:

• Prototype Delivery: Utilize generative AI tools to accelerate the development and delivery of prototypes, ensuring rapid iteration and feedback cycles.

• High-Quality Code: Apply generative AI techniques to produce high-quality code, enhancing efficiency and maintainability.

• Test Data and Documentation: Generate comprehensive test data and documentation using AI, streamlining the development and testing processes.

• Innovation in New Domains: Leverage generative AI to explore and innovate in new technological domains, expanding the capabilities and reach of our product offerings.

Technical Stack:

1. AI/ML Development: Proficiency in Python, numpy, scipy, pandas, Spark, Jupyter notebooks, regression analysis, and hyperparameter tuning.

2. MLOps: Experience with MLOps practices for model deployment and monitoring.

3. Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS Sagemaker or Azure ML.

4. Frontend Tools: Experience with Streamlit, Gradio, or similar tools for creating UI demos.

5. Backend Development: Ability to write and maintain REST APIs.

6. Data Engineering: Expertise in building data pipelines, including synthetic data generation and web scraping.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8+ years of experience in AI/ML and software development.

• Strong skills in Python, numpy, scipy, pandas, Spark, and Jupyter notebooks.

• Proven experience in regression analysis and hyperparameter tuning.

• Knowledge of MLOps practices.

• Ability to create interactive UI demos using Streamlit or Gradio.

• Extensive experience in data generation, including synthetic data and web scraping.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and AI agents.

• Familiarity with generative AI models like Stable Diffusion for 2D and 3D asset generation.

• Experience with AWS Sagemaker or Azure ML.

• Familiarity with cloud-native development and deployment.

• Strong presentation and storytelling skills.
