Engineering - Campbell, CA - Internship
Job Summary:
Centric Software is looking for a Mobile App intern to join our development team in Campbell California. We are looking for a student who is eager to learn what it takes to be a productive member of a software development team building enterprise software products. Please note that this is a Hybrid role and will require about 2-3 days in office at the Campbell Location.
Responsibilities:
As software engineer intern you will complete a 1-week training period with the support of a mentor from our development organization. Upon completion of training, you will join a small development team where you will be assigned stories, defects, and tasks that will stretch your capabilities.
The US base hourly range for this internship position is $25.00-$33.00. Our hourly ranges are determined by role, level and location. The range for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for internship hourly pay for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed reflect base hourly pay.

- Demonstrated ability in Object Oriented design
- Good technical knowledge about mobile application development / IOS SDK – design, test, documentation
- Proven debugging and performance testing skills via LLDB and Instruments
- Ability to write clean, well factored UI code
- Mobile App development process in a team environment
- Consolidation of existing IOS & Android app built in Swift & Java to a version in JavaScript and React Native
- Career development discussions and guidance
- Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
- Experience with: Mobile App development and testing – IOS (Swift) and Android (optional), React, React Native, JavaScript/Typescript
- Experience with Development Tools such as: Bitbucket/Git
- Prior experience working in a team (Agile optional) environment
