APAC HR Specialist (One Year Contract)
Job Summary:
Centric operates across APAC in 10 countries, with a major presence in China, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Singapore, India, and South-East Asia. The position as a HR Specialist will be based in China, should have experience working internationally and support Centric’s People & Culture activities in whole APAC regions. The position would manage recruitment and People & Culture Operations listed below in Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
Recruitment (40%)
- Partner with other APAC People & Culture colleagues, Directors, and Managers on the recruiting and new hires process.
- Manage the local job portals, which include job posting, resume screening, initial interviewing, and the interview process management.
- Identify useful recruitment channels, which include online job portals, social media, agencies, etc.
Employment Management
- Manage the full cycle of onboarding & offboarding, which includes background checks, onboarding & offboarding arrangements, benefits enrollment, payroll submission, orientations, necessary documentations, etc.
- Prepare and roll out policies/procedures relevant to the country.
- Assist and monitor the performance review/merit program/promotions, by coaching and advising Managers, documentating and managing communications.
- Budget, research and develop a Training and Development programs, workshops, seminars, online and leadership training to foster employee development.
- Monitoring important timelines, such as policy renewals, contract renewals, probation, operation cut-offs, etc.
- Make sure payroll changes are submitted timely, and compensation related questions from employees are handled in a professional way.
- Review benefit plans for each country, research, budget and develop cost effective benefit proposals to keep company benefit scheme competitive.
- Organizing Team Gatherings, social activities and festival gifts on a regular basis.
- Maintaining HRIS and employee data at 100% accuracy and up-to-date, via submitting new joiners and leavers’ information, validating master data such as Annual Merits & Variables, Annual Insurance Premium, Social Securities, etc.
- Partner with country Finance and Accounting colleagues / vendors on HR related agenda.
- Manage the in-country required statutory reporting.
- Issuing and assisting employment related letters / certificates, social status applications upon request.
- Handle regular administrative process such as PO settings, related invoices payments, etc.
- Other HR related assignments on ad-hoc basis.
- BA degree, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years in establishing and deploying HR policy.
- Ability to competently converse in English is essential, other languages including Japanese, a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to be work independently and as part of a team
