We are seeking a License Administrator to oversee the daily operational activities of the Centric software team. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy of all software orders, confirm order details, and uphold compliance with contract requirements. You will also assist customers directly in initiating new agreements and guide them through the processes necessary to activate and utilize newly acquired licenses. Your attention to detail and customer service skills will be essential in this position.

Job Description
We are seeking a License Administrator to oversee the daily operational activities of the Centric software team. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy of all software orders, confirm order details, and uphold compliance with contract requirements. You will also assist customers directly in initiating new agreements and guide them through the processes necessary to activate and utilize newly acquired licenses. Your attention to detail and customer service skills will be essential in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to established procedures for the accurate and timely creation and distribution of new licenses.
- Monitor license expirations and coordinate with Sales Operations for renewals.
- Maintain trust and integrity by only acting on authorized license distributions and diligently following procedures; proactively seek process improvements as needed.
- Verify that software products and configurations align with Centric’s policies and sales order requirements prior to order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Cloud Operations, Sales Operations, Legal, and Revenue Operations, to ensure precise license fulfillment.
- Follow procedures to procure necessary products from third-party vendors for license fulfillment.
- Respond proactively to customer inquiries, investigating and resolving issues swiftly to ensure maximum satisfaction.
- Manage access to license records and repositories for internal staff as required.
- Ensure that all product documentation provided to customers is current and compliant with order configurations.
- Develop a strong understanding of software deliverables to ensure accurate delivery and effective troubleshooting of issues.
- Create and enable customer accounts with the appropriate order-specific products and documentation.
- Accurately log all actions taken in the licensing process.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Familiarity with industry license systems, SaaS products, or Atlassian tools is a plus.
- Experience with cross-platform data synchronization projects is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of revenue recognition rules for SaaS and software fulfillment is a plus.
